A high quality plane that is only 1 3/4 inches long and 5/16 inches
wide. The tail with palm rest makes for easy gripping while the
unique blade locking mechanism holds the blade securely in place.
Available with flat or a slightly rounded bottom, these little
planes are ideal for getting into those tight spots for quick
clean up or fitting. The Bunny is also just the tool for instrument
or model makers. If you work with wood you should have a set.

Lie-Nielsen Limited Edition Planes:
We started the LN Limited Editions in 1992. The first
was a yellow bronze No. 1 size bench plane that was produced to
commemorate the Stanley 150th Birthday Convention held in New Britain,
CT. After the success of the first issue we moved on and have offered
a total of eight different limited edition tools.
All limited edition tools have the date cast into the bed of
the plane and individual serial numbers engraved on the lever
caps. Each plane is supplied in a special edition telescoping
box that was produced just for the edition. Starting in 2000 the
Limiteds have been cast with white bronze.
1993 STCC Stanley 150th Birthday
Produced for the Stanley Tool Collectors Convention
in the 1993 No. 1 size plane was manufactured in yellow bronze with
walnut totes and knobs. A total of 250 planes were produced and
all sold quickly. With the very limited production and high demand
these planes are hard to find and are seldom offered for sale.

1994 No. 212 Scraper Plane
Patented after the original Stanley 212 scraper these
small planes were cast in yellow bronze with walnut knobs. The edition
was limited to 250 planes and sold out within the year of issue.
An early limited that is hard to find.

1996 Edge Trimming Plane
Another original Stanley design, the No. 95 edge-trimming
plane was manufactured in yellow bronze and dated 996. An edition
of 250 right hand planes was ordered but only about 150 were ever
produced making the No. 95 the rarest of all the Limiteds. The No.
95 was offered as a matched set or as a single right hand plane.
The singles were sold in a custom blue cardboard box.

1996 Match Pair in Walnut Box
As a special set the left and right hand edge trimming
planes were offered as a matched pair. The matched sets were made
up of one each of the left and right hand planes and were housed
in a fitted walnut box. Only sixty matched sets were originally
produced.

LN 2000 Bench Plane
The No. 2 Limited Edition was produced in 2000. The
LN 2000 was the first limited edition plane to be produced in white
bronze. The white bronze is a special metal for Lie-Nielsen that
not only adds beauty but also increases the weight by about 3/4
of a pound. The handles are East Indian Cocobolo. The mix of dark
Cocobolo and silver body make for a very sharp looking plane.

LN 2001 Match Pair of Low Angle Block Planes
These planes are cast from white bronze and finished
to perfection with just the right mix of yellow brass to fully accent
the bronze. White bronze is silver in color andtakes a polish equal
to the most precious metals. A beautiful pair to own that will become
valuable collectibles, but are also fully working tools that will,
if you choose to use them, produce onion skin thin shavings far
into the millennium.
Handcrafted to the most exacting standards with the highest quality
materials available. The No. 1 is the smallest and most sought
after of all bench planes. Only 5 1/2 inches long with a 1 3/16-inch
extra thick A-2 steel blade.
The LN 2003 skew block plane is cast with a special ductile iron
body, white bronze cap and fence. One of Lie-Nielsen’s first
planes, the 140 block plane has been produced in bronze for many
years. These iron models are unique and were specially made just
for the 2003 limited edition. The iron body, with a highly polished
white bronze cap and a Cocobolo knob, produces a beautiful tool
of the highest quality.
