the LN 2001 Matched Pair of Low and Standard Angle Block Planes.

"The Hand Plane of the Millenium"

Handcrafted with the most exacting standards and the highest quality materials. These matched block planes are 5 1/4 inches long and have 1 1/4-inch cutters that are a full 1/8-inch thick. Truly one of the finest hand tools ever manufactured and without question planes for the Third Millennium.

These planes are cast from white bronze and finished to perfection with just the right mix of brass to fully accent the bronze. White bronze is silver in color and takes a polish equal to the most precious metals. A beautiful pair to own that will become valuable collectibles, but are also fully working tools that will, if you chose to use them, produce onion skin thin shavings far into the millennium.

The LN 2001 planes will only be available for a limited time. The total production is limited to 500 pairs, with the No. 2001 cast into the body of each plane. Special casting ensures that the planes can not be copied, and the foundry patterns used to produce the planes will be destroyed once the 500 have been created. The side of each plane will be engraved with its individual serial number, 1 to 500. Each plane is housed in a specially designed box and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
