the LN 2004 No. 1 1/2 Smooth Plane
"Hand Planes for the New Millennium"

At 8 1/4 inches long and 1 1/2 inches wide, the LN 2004 is truly a unique plane.  Historically, the LN 2004 is unlike any No. 1 smooth plane produced by plane makers of the past.  Its distinctness makes the LN 2004 a truly valued addition to the Lie-Nielsen line.  However, the LN 2004 No. 1 1/2 smooth plane will only be available for a limited time and quantity.  So do not miss your opportunity to own one of these uniquely valued planes.

Handcrafted to the most exacting standards with the highest quality materials available.  These planes  are cast in ductile iron and finished to perfection.  The handles are wrought from plantation grown Cocobolo.  A distinctively stunning plane that will become a valuable collectible.  Like all Lie-Nielsen Tools, the LN 2004, if you choose to use it, is of an unmatched caliper, capable of producing shavings of unparallel thinness.

The LN 2004 No. 1 1/2 smooth plane will only be available for a limited time.  The total production is limited to 500 planes,  each individualized with a serial number engraved on the lever cap.  Special castings ensure the planes can not be copied.  The destruction  of the foundry patterns and castings ensures they can never be reproduced.  Each plane will be housed in a specially designed box and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
