B56-404. EBONY PLOW PLANE WITH BONE WEDGES. Unsigned and almost certainly user made, solid ebony throughout, arms are locked both by bone wedges, worn but intact and appear original, plus hand-forged wingnuts, tombstone depth stop also with a hand forged wingnut, head partly broken. Big chip out of one arm but would otherwise good, missing its cutter. The front notch on the fence is wider than the shoulder that fits into it but appears original.
