B58-117 LOT OF TWO BRITISH OGEE PLANES. 1-1/2" profile by James Howel, spring marked; Howel worked in Chelsea from 1820-1840 and his mark is very uncommon. Plus a 1-1/8" quirked lying ogee with boxed quirk by Christopher Gabriel, marked "8." Both red beech, with wide flat chamfers, there are some holes in the sole of both where it looks like a strip was attached. Fine 100-200
