B58-224 TOOL CHEST. 25" by 39" and 24" high. Looks like walnut. Outside is painted dark green with reinforced edges and corners, but the entire inside cover is beautifully inlaid with at least five different woods. There's one tight crack in a large panel. Five sliding compartments, with birdseye maple lids on the top two, and a saw compartment. Original working lock with key. The chest apparently belonged at one time to a piano maker, as it contained several piano making and tuning tools, plus a collection of eight gouges (seven from a set by D.R. Barton and an outlier, all of which we are including, along with three nondescript saws and some miscellaneous stuff). From the Dennis Fisher collection. Good+ 600-1200
