B58-654 THREE ARM PLOW PLANE. Chapin-Rust Patent. Version of the Chapin-Rust 1868 patent with round outer arms. Marked Union Factory No. 239-3/4, applewood, boxed, rosewood wedge, overall light dinging but no damage noting some wear to the front of the skate, one E.M. Chapin cutter. Very clean version of an iconic patented plow plane. From the Bud Steere collection. Good+ 800-1200
