B61-148 SAW. Here's a saw we've never seen, and couldn't find in any reference work. It's 29-1/2" long, with arched wooden support member that attaches to the handle and runs parallel to the blade for its entire length, terminating in a brass bracket that holds a screw used to tighten the 19" blade. The teeth are raked away from the handle, 6-1/2 tpi. Possibly used to cut planks from a board It's unmarked except for the name "J.S. Swanton" which looks like a user stamp. Very well made and looks manufactured. One of the screws that holds the support to the handle is missing and the other looks like a modern replacement. Good+ 100-200
