b61-579 "VICTORY" SAW. Disston D-115. Originally issued in 1915 as the Diamond Jubilee to celebrate Disston's 75th anniversary, and subsequently redesignated the Victory saw when the US entered WWI. It was issued in two models, the D-115 skewback, and D-15 straight. Intended as a top of the line saw with rosewood handle and fancy etching, this one was issued during WWII when walnut was used instead of rosewood. Blade is very clean with clear etching, 26", 8 tpi crosscut. Handle is worn with surface chips in the finish but no damage. Good+ 100-200
