B62-422. MODERN MAKER. R.M. Soule Three Arm Plow Plane. Patterned after the Israel White patent, and beautifully made by Bob Soule who passed away a few years ago at 93. The body and fence are rosewood, the outer arms and wedge are brass. The central threaded arm looks like ebony, with turned hardwood nuts with ivory tips. The toe is marked "R.M. Soule" with an inlaid brass plaque with a double headed eagle. Old Anderson Bros. No. 3 cutter. A couple of small chips, but overall a masterpiece. Fine 1000-2000
