B62-545. ADJUSTABLE FENCE PLOW PLANE. Morris Patent. The scissors-type fence adjustment patented by Ellis Morris of Canton, Ohio, in 1871, and manufactured for a short period by Sandusky. This is the version that has a closed beech tote and wedge and doesn't have a thumbscrew to secure the wedge or the casting for a vertical nicker. One old smoothed over chip out of the tote, japanning nearly complete, original Sandusky cutter. From the collection of Cliff Sapienza. Good+ 600-1200
