B62-637. SCREW-ARM PLOW PLANE. J. Hannan. Unhandled, beech body, fence and wedge, the nuts and arms could be boxwood but darkly stained. There are a few small chips from the threads and checks in the body around the throat. Very large and elaborately shaped outer nuts, the inner nuts are simple discs but also unusually large. Hannan worked in both New York and Middletown in the 1840s and 50s; this is his C mark which rates four stars and has been found on another boxwood plow. Good+ 100-200
