B62-655. SMOOTHING PLANE. Morris "Diamond" Patent. Early version of the design patented in 1870 by Ellis Morris and marketed by Ohio Tool as the "Diamond" plane. This resembles the plane shown in figure 69 of PTAMPIA II, except that the diamond pattern covers the entire 9" sole. 2-1/4" Ohio Tool Co. double iron, spalled.
