B62-669. DECORATIVELY CARVED 1847 JOINTER. 26" sole, removable knobs at toe and heel, missing its wedge and cutter but the throat is 2-3/8". Very elaborate relief carvings with Biblical scenes - a Madonna and child with cherubim and Adam and Eve in the garden with the naughty bits covered with vines. Both sides have the maker's name - "Dionis Gruber" on one and "Dionis Grub" on the other, and the date 1847. Significant overall wear and inactive worm. From the collection of Cliff Sapienza.
