B62-674. INFILL SMOOTHING PLANE. Mathieson No. 844. Steel body with 7-1/4" dovetailed steel sole with parallel sides, rosewood fill and open tote, 2-1/4" original Mathieson iron, gunmetal lever cap with Saracen mark. Some light pitting on iron, cheeks have been polished, wood fine. From a legendary collection of infill and metal planes. Fine 250-500
