B63-354. INFILL SHOULDER PLANE. Unsigned and craftsman made. Steel body with plates soldered to 8" sole, rosewood fill and wedge. The body has some decorative details including a spiral design at both ends. "T.P. Richardson" neatly stamped into right cheek, presumably the maker. Two steel strike buttons, one in the fill just ahead of the throat and one in the wedge. 1" unsigned iron. A few patches of surface corrosion but no pitting. Very uncommon and artistic pattern.
