B63-429. WIDE OGEE PLANE. 9-1/2" long and cuts 1-3/4" ogee-bevel, 3-3/4" wide total with attached fence. Fence has two strips of wood attached whcih appear to be to make the angle narrower rather than as boxing Spring marked, a few stains on body, dinging on heel. This plane, and the next six lots, are all marked "W.F. Smith" and were part of a set of specialized planes owned by a Philadelphia cabinetmaker, collected by Carl Bopp. Good+ 50-100
