B63-492. SET OF PIPE ORGAN TUNING TOOLS. These are described in the display as "voicing cones" and "knocking up cups." Voicing cones are double-ended brass tools with a cone at one end and cup at the other that could be used to expand or contract the diameter of pipes, which were typically made of a soft lead alloy. We couldn't find a description of "knocking up cups" but they are larger diameter cups presumably used for the larger pipes. This set consists of four voicing cones and three knocking up cups mounted in a 11" by 13" wooden frame with felt background, plus three extra voicing cones that didn't fit into the display.
