B63-590. CHARIOT BLOCK PLANE. Stewart Spiers. Cast steel body with 4-3/4" sole, unlike most chariots it has a gunmetal lever cap with cap screw rather than wedge, snecked 1-1/4" Ward & Payne iron, strike button on heel mashed, nice tight mouth. Some light surface corrosion but no pitting. From a legendary private collection of infill planes. Good+ 150-300
