B63-623. EIGHTEENTH CENTURY SLIDING FILLETSTER. I. Day. 9-1/2" sole, 7/8" skewed cutter. Wide flat chamfers. Angled wooden depth stop with copper slot. The mark is officially unrated in AWP but may be a variation of the mark of James Day, a Gloucester, MA, dealer in the 1790s. Good+ 100-200
