York2024-268. BEVEL FENCE. Taylor Patent. Patented in 1876 by one Harrison Taylor of Minerva, Ohio. Consists of a wooden fence on a cast iron bracket that needs to be screwed to the side of a wood bodied plane, with the angle set by a locking wingnut. This one is screwed to an unmarked 22" jointer with a big chip out of the tote and 2-1/2" cutter. Only the second one we've seen, but the patent model is shown in Figure 104 of PTAMPIA II. From the collection of Cliff Sapienza. Good 100-200
