B64-573. GRAVITY INCLINOMETER. Pittsburg Novelty Co. Patented in 1887 by Oscar Fuller of Burlington, KS and manufactured in Pittsburg, KS, this level's folding pendulum compartment makes it one of the most unusual and collectible of patented inclinometers. 28" mahogany stock. Marked both by Pittsburg Novelty and by Murray and Porter, the original makers. The wood has some minor staining and the lamination is starting to separate, there's a hanghole at one end. Brass is clean and never polished and hanging needle works smoothly. Condition: Good+, Estimate: 800-1500
