B66-358 INFILL REBATE PLANE. A. Mathieson & Son No. 849. Steel body with 9" sole, rosewood fill and wedge, 1" W. Marples iron. Probably made by Norris for Mathieson. Toe has Saracen mark and "Steel" stamped at edge of sole. There's a crack in the fill at the heel around the spalled strike button, some wear to wedge and user names stamped in wood.
