The arms are anchored in the body and protrude to the left, they are wood with brass tops and a central slot, the fence is positioned and locked by bolts projecting through the slots that are locked by brass wingnuts. The "E. Preston 77 Lichfield St. Birm'm" mark on the toe identifies it as early, before Ed Jr. joined the firm and the iconic "EP" mark was adopted. Red beech, overall light wear.
