TC25-257 PROTRACTOR. Stancliffe & Draper. Circular brass wheel, 5" in diameter, with 7-1/2" arm. Stancliffe & Draper, Philadelphia, engraved on wheel spoke. Inside original mahogany box, 10-3/4" x 5-3/4", that has kept it clean. Benjamin Stancliffe and Edmund Draper made surveying and mathematical instruments in the early 1830s.
