B67-46 PATENT MODEL. Brinckerhoff Mortiser. 10-1/2" x 3" x 9", wooden model with working gears and tilting seat in very clean working condition. Includes original July 11, 1879, receiving tag inside plastic envelope for what looks like the name C. R. Brinckerhoff, which corresponds to a patent issued August 3, 1880. See Fine Tool Journal, Winter 2014 edition, for an article written by Jim Schoenky on this patent model and the Brinckerhoff patent. From the collection of Jim and Christa Schoenky. Good+ 200-400
