B67-223 PATENT MODEL. Pen Holder. Patented by one J.M. Keep of New York in 1868, and designed to hold a row of ink pens on the desk when not in use. 6-1/2" wood base with twelve brass clips mounted on it. The base has a plaque with the inventor's name.
