B67-272 ELECTRIC LEVEL. C. Bede. Actually patented in 1914 by two residents of Butte, MT, but all known examples are marked C. Bede. One of the most graphic and collectible of the electric lighted levels with iron skeletal frame, battery compartment with brass cover, and light bulb suspended in the middle of a four-vial compartment. The japanning on this one is about 50%, the gold lettering is faded, and there's a small chip from the top rail, but it's all there and there are only a handful out there. Good 500-1000
