In the final iteration of his improved version of the Phillips patent plow, Matthias Mayo replaced the original pinstriping with a coat of gold paint, cast the four letters of his name into the heads of the locking screws, and cast "The Boss Plane" in the side. This example has some light surface corrosion and the gold paint is dull and about 40%. On the other hand, it's complete, the rosewood tote and fence are very clean (noting some scratching in the fence), and best of all it has nine of its original cutters that are rarer than the plane itself. You can clean it up and restore the gold paint if you'd like. Good 2000-4000
