B67-498 EXTRA WIDE SMOOTHING PLANE. Sargent No. 10C. Proper marked 2-3/8" cutter with VBM casting on lever cap, 10" corrugated sole, has Shaw's patent frog. Japanning 95% with a few flaws ahead of throat but looks original, wood is very clean noting a few nicks on tip of tote, metal overall oxidized but no rust or pitting. From the collection of Harold Unruh. Good+ 125-250
