B67-534 KNOWLES TYPE RABBET OR BADGER PLANE. Cast iron Knowles-type body and 12-1/2" sole. The mouth opens into the right cheek, and the 2-1/2" Buck Bros. cutter has been altered so the right side fits the mouth. The closed tote and front bun are held in place with wood screws through holes cast in the cheeks. Looks manufactured, but completely unmarked. A large gouge out of the center of the wedge, wood and metal otherwise very clean. A highly intriguing plane. From the collection of Harold Unruh. Good+ 1000-2000
