B67-570 GRAVITY INCLINOMETER . Loeschner Patent Protractor Level. Patented in 1921 by Henry Loeschner of Fredericktown, MO, and features a central compartment that can be popped out of the stock and used separately as a gravity inclinometer. In the first version, in addition to the hanging indicator, the central compartment included four level vials glued to the edges that in many examples have become loose or broken; in this example three are present and intact but one has come loose. The label is intact and original but has some staining, possibly caused when the fourth vial broke. 24" long, wood is worn but undamaged, scaled brass ruler on the top rail is tarnished. A decent example of a rare inclinometer. Good 300-600
