B67-623 COOPER'S HOWELL. Used to cut the hollowed out area into which the cask head is fitted. 14" across, cuts a 1-3/4" howell with a Robt. Sorby cutter, spalled. Wood handle, five iron wear plates, hang hole. Wood oxidized with light wear. From the John Lervoog collection of cooper's tools. Good 50-100
