B67-647 SIMS TYPE PLATED BRACE. Pilkington, Pedigor & Storrs. Beech brace with heavy brass plating, rosewood head, fancy lever-type chuck. Marked "By Her Majesty's Royal Letter Patent" and based on Pilkington's 1852 patent, also marked by T. Tillotson, which sold the brace. A very clean, never polished, example of a beautiful brace that is far more rare than the Ultimatum designs. Fine 500-1000
