B67-653 CORE BOX PLANE. Lewis Patent. Unmarked but identical to patent drawings in PTAMPIA II, pages 178-179. Patented 12/4/66 by Elisha Lewis of Philadelphia. 13" x 9" frame, japanning 99%, missing one locking screw but works smoothly. Tote has a few small chips from end, metal clean. Appears to be an early version. Uncommon. From the collection of Harold Unruh. Good+ 500-1000
