B68-90 AUGER BIT DISPLAY. Display illustrating the fourteen steps involved in producing a Stanley/Jennings auger bit, starting with the tang and body blanks and ending with the final chrome finish. The final product is an 11/16" bit, with the red Stanley notched rectangle mark. Examples of each state in the process are labeled and clipped into a hinged wooden box, 12-1/2" x 13" closed. The box has a couple of splits and scratches but each stage in the bit manufacturing process is immaculate, sharp and rust free. Three of the stages also have separate examples of the end.
