B68-143 INFILL MITRE PLANE. Unmarked and craftsman made. 10-1/4" cast steel body, fill looks like mahogany, 2-1/4" William Ash iron. Has a cammed lever cap marked with Leonard Bailey's 1858 patent. Metal oxidized with moderate rust and pitting on sole, lever cap has 50% japanning, wood clean. From the collection of Harold Unruh. Good 100-200
