B68-167 SMOOTHING PLANE. Stanley No. 4 IOB. Type 17, war production model with notched rectangle cutter, plastic knob, notched rectangle mark on lever cap. A few light spots of surface corrosion. Box fully intact with original wax paper and includes original cutout of article from 1956 on how to use a hand plane. Box has retaped seams. 90% Type 7 label. Includes bonus unmarked 4-3/4" blue and red japanning block plane. From the collection of David Jeffers. Good + 60-120
