B68-256 MARKING GAUGE. J. Padley & Co. Rosewood stem & head, 9-1/2" long, hand carved boxwood locking screw. Original cutter and brass wedge on one end, square hole on other end. One chip from head, some light scratching. Empty mortise at one end. Padley is a lesser-known Sheffield maker. From the collection of Bill Webber. Good 75-150
