B68-273 LEVEL. P.L. Fox Patent. Based on Philo Fox's 1890 patent and marked only with the patent date. 24" long and made of two wooden stocks separated by nickel plated spacers. Plumb vials encased in glass tubes, one of which is chipped. Manufacturer unknown but a very uncommon level. Wood clean, nickel plating 90%. Good + 300-600
