B68-373 BREAST DRILL. McClellan Patent. Stephen McClellan, originally of San Marcos, TX, and subsequently of New York, is known for his corner braces covered by four patents, but he also patented this breast drill with a handle that can be moved to different positions for corner work, and two protruding ears used to anchor a chain drive. Far rarer than the corner braces, this one is in good shape and works smoothly, with some light surface oxidation. The handle is stamped "McClellan Sound Beach CT."
