Stephen McClellan, originally of San Marcos, TX, and subsequently of New York, is known for his corner braces covered by four patents, but he also patented this breast drill with a handle that can be moved to different positions for corner work, and two protruding ears used to anchor a chain drive. Far rarer than the corner braces, this one is in good shape and works smoothly, with some light surface oxidation. The handle is stamped "McClellan Sound Beach CT."
