B68-434 TRANSITIONAL PLANE. Chaplin's Patent No. 75. Uncommon example of Orril Chaplin's patent on a transitional plane, manufactured by Tower & Lyon. Figure 193 of PTAMPIA I. 9" razee body, 2" original marked cutter. Marked on toe by T&L and with patent information. Wood has light wear with some scratches on sole, japanning 75%, nickel plating worn off lever cap. From the collection of Harold Unruh. Good+ 100-200
