B68-446 PATENTED SQUARE. L. Bailey. Made and sold by Bailey as the "New Improved Try Square" after he parted ways with Stanley. See Van Pernis and Wells, Figure 5-6. This example has a 6" blade, 4-1/4" steel handle. Blade clearly marked with Bailey's 1873 and 1874 patent dates. Metal overall clean, some oxidation around screw. Uncommon.
