B68-477 MECHANICAL CALCULATOR. Curta. Invented by Curt Herzstark of Vienna in the 1930s and generally considered the best purely mechanical pocket calculator ever made. This is a Type II, with serial 515746, which dates it to late 1958. In mint condition in its original case and works like a charm; once you get used to it you'll never want to use an electronic calculator again. Fine 1500-3000
