B68-505 SMOOTHING PLANE. Standard Rule No. 3. Early version sold by Standard in the 1880s prior to the merger with Upson Nut and based on the Rusts' 1883 patent. 8" sole and 1-3/4" proper marked cutter. Traces of japanning, nickel plating on lever cap mostly gone, metal oxidized but no rust or pitting knob and tote have mild wear. Good 120-240
