B68-538 SHOOT BOARD PLANE. O.R. Chaplin's Patent. The version shown in the A. J. Wilkinson advertisement in Figure 196 of PTAMPIA I. 23" long with 2-3/8" Buck Brothers cutter. "O.R. Chaplin's Patent" cast in a circle with "12" in the center and A.J. Wilkinson plaque. Good clean condition; japanning and nickel plating on handle both nearly intact.
