B68-576 CAST IRON INCLINOMETER. Hodge Patent. Based on Hodge's 1899 patent and manufactured by Bradford Union Company of Bradford, PA. Hanging needle is hollow and filled with mercury and supported from pocket in glass cover plates. All Hodge levels are uncommon but the cast iron versions are particularly rare. 19-3/4" long. Japanning fully intact. Light corrosion on the cover plate surrounds and needle does not swing freely. Good 500-1000
