TC26-181 TRY SQUARE. C.G. Siewers. Uncommon Cincinnati maker from 1839 to 1866. 12" unruled blade, 8" rosewood handle with brass edging strip. Decorative quatrefoil escutcheon with user name engraved in decorative script. Stamped "C.G. Siewers. Cincinnati, Warranted" on handle. A few light patches of pitting on blade but overall clean. From the collection of David Jeffers. Good+ 100-200
