TC26-264 FRAMING TOOL. Taintor Patent. Patent by Charles Taintor of Elizabeth, N.J., on May 18, 1910. Combines functions of both a square and a bevel. One of those ridiculously elaborate layout tools that proliferated around 1900, with numerous arms that unfold to enable the user to lay out various angles. A few small patches of oxidation but otherwise like new. From the collection of Steve Dice. Good+ 40-80
