TC26-402 SALESMAN'S SAMPLE. Sargent No. 714C Auto-Set From Sargent's 700 series of planes based on Albert Page's patented cutter adjustment, with the left cheek cut away to demonstrate the mechanism. There are a few of these around (see PTAMPIA II, Figure 405), but they are very uncommon. Japanning 95%, reglued tip on tote but wood and metal otherwise fine. From the collection of Harold Unruh.
